FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The New York Times says Kirk may have inflated his claims of being a former “teacher”

The Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times are left in the dust as Kirk is constantly “outed” by national media

(CHICAGO)(June 17, 2010) The New York Times has been investigating Mark Kirk and is featuring a new story Thursday that says Kirk inflated his claims of being a former “teacher:”

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/17/us/politics/17kirk.html?hp

“Mark Kirk is being systematically destroyed by the national media,” Andy Martin says. “Republican primary voters were victimized and defrauded by a pack of lies propagated by Illinois Republican Chairman Pat Brady and his ‘cabal of corruption.’ It seems that every aspect of Mark Kirk’s life has been a lie. Every aspect of his resume is exaggerated.

“First it was the Washington Post took on Kirk, with exposures about his fraudulent military career.

“Now the New York Times is whacking away at Kirk’s inflated teaching history.

“Where are the Chicago media in all of this? Why are the scandalous disclosures about Kirk coming from New York and Washington, DC? Oh, I forgot, the ‘yokel’ Chicago media, led by ‘greasy palm’ Chicago Tribune reporter Rick Pearson, ‘hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil’ about Kirk. Maybe instead of calling the local media yokels we should call them monkeys,” Martin says. “The Kirk campaign is dying, and the local newspapers and TV stations are ‘covering’ for Kirk like crazy. There hasn’t been a political zombie like Kirk since Charlton Heston played El Cid the Spanish hero.”

Martin has been a leading corruption fighter in Illinois for over forty years.
